The Turkish deep-sea scrap import prices recovered back with the news of fresh United States cargo deal heard on Thursday January 6.
A steel mill in the Iskenderun region booked a US cargo comprising 26,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 (85:15) at $472 per tonne and 4,000 tonnes of P&S at $487 per tonne cfr late on January 5.
There was a European deal also heard on January 5, comprising 23,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 (80:20) at $446 per tonne, 5,000 tonnes of HMS 1..
