India Steel Market Watch
November 18: Steel exports through the port of Paradip in October 2015 dropped 20.96% to 2,530 tons, against 1,367 tons in September 2015, according to provisional data available with ISMW.
With the October figures, total steel exports for the first seven months of the current fiscal of 2015-16 stood at 17,549 tons against a much lower 8,518 tons in the same period of the previous fiscal.
Total exports of the material in 2014-15 stood at a nominal 12,452 tons.

In October 2015, the entire volume comprised HR products, at an average price range of Rs 72,803-Rs 83,661 per ton. The material went to Indonesia (1,989 tons) and Vietnam (541 tons).
In September 2015, the entire volume comprised HR products, at an average price range of Rs 72,890-Rs 77,387 per ton. The material went to Indonesia (2,740 tons) and Vietnam (461 tons).
