India Steel Market Watch
November 26: Miners kept iron ore offers unchanged in the last one week, taking into account low demand and inventory levels, industry sources said.
Sources said miners in Odisha like Rungta, Essel, Serajjudin, Indrani and KJS held prices stable after cutting lumps rates by Rs 200-300 per ton and fines prices by around Rs 100 per ton the week before.
At the beginning of November, NMDC had slashed lumps prices by Rs 80-100 per ton but raised fines prices by Rs 100 per ton.
Sources said miners would review the market condition in the first week of December to decide on a price revision.
