November 27: Imports of ferro alloys via Mundra Port stood at 642 tons in October 2015, up 52.78% from 420 tons in September, according to provisional data available with ISMW.

In October 2015, a volume of 25 tons ferro chrome came from China at Rs 133,483 ($2,043) per ton, 313 tons of ferro manganese from South Africa at Rs 35,410 ($542) per ton and 304 tons of ferro silicon from France, Malaysia and Norway at various price ranges.
In September 2015, around 50 tons of ferro chrome came from China at Rs 136,811 ($2,040) per ton. A volume of 370 mt of ferro silicon came from France, Norway and South Africa in various price ranges.
