There have been no iron ore ore exports via Paradip Port for the last five months from October 2015–February 2016 while in September, these had stood at 78,430 tons, as per provisional information available with ISMW.
Overall, export trends have been very erratic with gaps in-between.
Thus, total exports of the material in the first 11 months of 2015-16 stayed put at 337,630 tons against 819,453 tons in the same period of the previous fiscal.
However, exports of iron ore and pellets through the port of Paradip in 2014-15 were at 889,393.
