India Steel Market Watch
October 16: Metallic prices remained volatile in the e-auctions held between September 10, 2015 and October 8, 2015, conducted through the metaljunction auctioning platform, according to information available with ISMW.
Approved defectives fetched the highest bid price of Rs 29,200 per ton (basic) for material from West Bengal.
Approved scrap prices fetched the highest bid price of Rs 21,268 per ton (basic) for material from West Bengal.
Billet prices, subject to confirmation, fetched the highest bid price of Rs 22,050 per ton (basic) for material from Uttar Pradesh.
Scrap prices, subject to confirmation, fetched the highest bid price of Rs 29,600 per ton (basic) for material from West Bengal.
