The metal index increases marginally on Thursday. On Wednesday the index closed in Red. Stock Market experts explained the 1 day long downward journey as a regular correction.
The S&P BSE Metal index increased 14.82 points (1.70%) to close at 7,519.62 on March 10 from the previous closing of 7,504.80. The highs and lows on March 8 were 7633.90 and 7512.46 respectively.
Though Global markets such as CAC, FTSE all closed in 1-2% down, the Sensex also closed in red in Thursday from the previous close.
The Sensex decreased170.62 points (0.69%) to close at 24,623.34.
On March10, most of the stocks on the S&P BSE Metal closed in the green. The maximum gain was registered by HIDALCO, with the stock increasing 2.59% to close at Rs 83.3. The maximum loss was registered by Hind Zinc, with the stock decreasing 1.45% to close at Rs 169.7.
