Imports of iron ore via Gangavaram Port touched 47,702 tons in fiscal 2015-16 against 398,189 tons in 2014-15, according to provisional data available with ISMW.
Incidentally, after a 10 month gap, iron ore imports resumed via Gangavaram Port in February 2016
On the other hand, imports of the material via the port rose 39.40% month-on-month to 27,826 tons in March 2016 from 19,876 tons seen in February 2016.
