Flat product prices increased following the announcement of minimum import price (MIP), which will make imports expensive and support domestic prices, industry sources told ISMW.
Industry sources said HRC prices increased in the range of Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500 per ton.
CRC offers also increased by Rs 300-900 per ton, information with ISMW showed.
HR plate prices remained unchanged on slow trading activity.
GP prices rose Rs 900 per ton in Delhi to Rs 35,600 per ton, data available with ISMW showed.
