November 27: For the first time in the current fiscal, 730 tons of manganese ore was imported via Marmagoa Port during the month of October 2015, as per provisional information available with ISMW. A volume of 811 tons of the material had been imported last time via this port in March 2015.
Meanwhile, iron ore imports via this port stood at 730 tons during the first seven months (April-October) of 2015-16, while 51,095 tons of the material had been imported during the same period in 2014-15.
