Spot prices of billets in markets across the country continued to remain on the weaker side on January 11 amidst uncertainty over finished product prices, market sources said.
Earlier, prices had remained firm during the past two weeks in anticipation of fresh enquiries, but declined during the past week, they said.
Sources said lower offtake of TMT resulted in lower sales of billets.
